| I understand your frustration with this judge, and this system. I am a single Father, and have experienced the bias against men in the judicial system. I was able to gain custody of my son only because his mother did not wish to keep him. There is a double standard when it comes time for child support, with the system ignoring fathers rights. I wish you the best, and applaud you for your courage, and conviction. I truly hope things work out for you, and that Bonaventura is not retained. - FM |
| I am currently in the same situation that you are currently involed in, please write me to discuss this matter. I would like to try and help you in your matter as well as my own matter. I have a lot of detailed documented in the same manner that you have documented. I have been dealing with my issue for over five years, and found myself leaving court this week with no resolution, but only to find myself going through another round of wasted time and money to only keep what is already mine granted by the courts in the past. In the mean time, I continue to make sure I keep a relationship with my children because some day they will grow up and will know the truth when they read all the documented findings that their mother put in front of them to keep them from having a relationship with me. | sir, i applaud your dedication to your child ... and i further suggest ( as someone who has had wrongful rulings in lake county courts) ... that getting this matter out of the lake county judicial system and into the appeals process is your best prospect for success ... (and a good way to poke your finger in the original judge's eye!!!) it is virtually impossible in the state of indiana to impeach a public official ( there is no mechanism for this in the state constitution) ... but if there was ... miller & bonaventura would be prime candidates !!! you do your fellow citizens a public service by this website... thank you .... however, EXPECT TO BE SUED into poverty .... that is one of the tools lake county political elites abuse in order to keep the little guy down and keep the corrupt guy in power ... YOU WILL LOSE IN THE LAKE COUNTY COURTS (you already know this)... but will prevail on appeal ... many thousands of dollars later ... i understand your anonymity ... | Dear sirs, I have lived in Lake County all my life and have had first hand dealings with Bonaventura. I read the recent article in the Hammond Times, went to your web site and read the story. I must commend you on your reporting but these people think they are above the law. In the case I know of, there were taped phone conversations which almost cost people their lives because Bonaventura wanted them. I was so outraged to read your story that I wrote the reporter for the Times the following: Dear Mark, I have been a reader of the Hammond Times for longer than I would want to admit. The question I have and I mean no disrespect is when are the reporters from Northwest Indiana going to expose the corruption which exists in Lake County. I read your article on Bonaventura and it seems to me that--here we go again--use a little influence and it's much of nothing. I guess the reason I am writing this email is because back in 1998 your paper along with others were contacted on a story of such disregard of the law that NO ONE cared to expose the corruption. It involved a child and the allegations of Criminal Misconduct, Criminal Negligence, Obstruction of Justice, Failure to Provide Due Justice, Violation of Constitutional Rights, Perjury, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Violation of Civil Rights. The people involved in this were the Lake County Prosecutors Office, Lake County Sheriffs Office, Lake County Juvenile, Lake County Judge, FBI and Lake County Child Protective Services in Gary. It might sound a little far fetched if it wasn't for the documentation and TAPED PHONE CONVERSATIONS to prove the allegations. The late Judge Trapane knew of the tapes but died before he could help to have this injustice exposed. Recently there was an article on Lake County's Prosecutor, Bernard Carter's daughter, "Prosecutor's daughter faces illegal gun purchase charge." Carter's statement and I quote in part "I believe very strongly in our judicial system." To be more frank, when will someone or some paper write the truth about what happened to this child? When will it be exposed on how some people used their influence to cover up the truth while condoning abuse and neglect? I mean no disrespect toward you but when I read what Carter said it just made me sick. The other article was on and I quote: "New Effort to Combat Child Abuse Under Way". The statement by Sheriff Buncich proves what I allege. In part Buncich stated, "Call it lack of communication, failure to follow through, but whatever it was, there were a lot of cases that should have been prosecuted that weren't, Sheriff John Buncich said." This, along with other stories seems like their way of covering up their actions on what was done. That is very little consolation to the lives they ruined. I have lived in Lake County all my life so please so I know that Bonaventura is politically connected. I would like to hear your thoughts and await a response, - S PS I just wanted your organization to know that what you charge is true, but have no idea how far it goes. I will keep you informed. |
| I have been fighting in court for 4 years now, my ex took my kids out of state without court order, I have been trying to get them to move back to Indiana, visitation is a real problem, I feel that I am loosing my kids. - PJ |

| I have a case that will bring tears to your eyes. I have paid all of the support to the court and I have found myself in debt $ XX,XXX.XX to the state due to my daughter has been in custody of the state since XXXXX, 199X. I have all documentation on everything. I have signed court papers and lawyer letters... do you or will you do what is needed for me to print this and not get in any more trouble? this has been going on for ten years and I have almost all documentation for everything... the story is all true and you may call or contact me for verification on any of it HELP PLEASE let me know what I can do I don't want to summit this unless you will go over it and make sure that I didn't say nothing to get my butt in trouble...or a court could use against me. I don't want to end up lost in lake county...I go to court again on XXXXXXXX and would like to get something for my lawyer by then because he is beside himself also. Thank you, SAD DAD. |
| I can't understand our "justice" system at all. It infuriates me to no end at what that man & his daughter have been put through. I can't even imagine how helpless he must be surely feeling. He must be a saint because I can tell you now I would have definately taken a more drastic measure by now. Has he checked other state laws to see if his chances at moving custody hearings to another state? I don't know if he would be able to do that without at least having partial custody to begin with though...would he? Its a thought. Maybe his chances in Missouri would have been better, or even Illinois where he is living. I am sure by now he has racked his brain & everything else trying to find a means to an end at this "PIGCIRCUS". I will be praying for him & his daughter with hope of justic in the "NEAR" future! I applaud his courage, patience, & never ending love. It's got to be almost impossible to keep up with at times, but he needs to remember no matter what Teri Ann's reactions are on the outside....inside is a little girl that still loves her father & is testing him at this time to see how much he "really" loves her. - VW |
| I have a similar story - actually virtually dentical - it's really not just this judge I think it's most of the civil court judges - they are very pro woman no matter what the true circumstances of the case are they assume you're whatever the ex-wife says you are and that's kinda the bottom line. They are also very lazy and let things sit and just plain ignore what's gong on in these cases - they are very desensitized to a father feelings and rights. Personally I had to let go and just give up and let her think that I didn't care about my 2 children in order to have any chance of seeing them. I'll have them this weekend which is really special to me since it's Easter but had she thought that I really wanted to see them - I'll guarantee you that I would not have them. Anyway, I'll really pray for you in your situation I know that this has been expensive for you and more importantly emotionally draining. Give your daughter more credit in all this than you think - she may act like you have abandoned her infront of her mother and others at times and sometimes even with you - but I'll bet she knows that you really do love her. | I am outraged but not surprised at what I have read on your site. I had an ex who demonstrated these same behaviors. Fortunately my court was in Marion County and not Lake County. My question is how much media exposure outside of the 2 newspaper articles has this gotten. It seems that an investigative news team would be very interested in this. It also seems to me that the State Attorney General might need to be notified about this. I'm interested in doing what I can to help as I truly believe that women like this damage a child emotionally. Good luck in disposing of this incompetent and seemingly biased judge. Hopefully some bad press to humiliate her in every way possible based on this will do the deed. - D |
| Dr Rebesco's Recommened that "B" be awarded sole legal custody of his three children ... "'B' seems better able to conceptuallize the children's needs and deal with them in a rational manner." The judge went against it all and kept custody with the Mother. Doctor Rebesco also said "L" the mother of our children has committed an act of serious child neglect through her persistent efforts to remove "B" from the lives of the children. | ...Facts speak louder than BS and I'm confused as to the courts positions and can only pray it changes. The legal system must look into these findings and make changes. Too bad...it will not happen unless the news media is involved. Good luck in your pursuit and hang in there. Most fathers would have walked away in total frustration and I think that's what the courts are really looking for !!!! Then they can say how good the system works. Anyone who has had dealings with our legal system in these matters is well aware they must give in to many requests they know will only prolong or cost way too much money....to pursue or because of the fear of a women who the courts will protect. More divorce cases need to be presented before a "jury of your peers". This will keep the back room courts (Family Court) honest and more visible.... But the courts would rather have NO watchfull eyes to reveiw and comment on them. The system needs to change...lawyers and judges run the entire sytem...there are no checks and balances. Maybe the judges should be every day people ?? Teachers, Fireman,Businessmen every day people to bring some common sence back to the courts. One, two or three year elected terms from your own town...then return to your occupation. Good luck and your daughter will thank you one day... JR |
| I had my son taken from me by T. Edward Page, a former criminal magistrate at an emergency hearing (truly a pig circus) and now he is off the case. Too late! I haven't seen my children since last year and I had custody for 7 yrs. Page needs to be disciplined heavily for his actions taking this case to begin with. My new attorney tells me the rest of the pool of these clowns are all pro-female. I will keep you informed about this case if you would care to highlight it on this site. Sincerely, - D |
| I just happened by your website and all I can say is I knew there were wicked women out there but that beats them all. I have to say that I was an abused child and as one I can tell you that they don't tell when it happens, they keep it to themselves so obviously your ex has brainwashed your poor daughter. I'm sorry for your loss and wish you the best. I wish more fathers took an interest in their kids lives like you did. I recently had a child with a man who did not want a baby with me. Giv'em hell! Sounds almost identical in some respects to my own case. I live in east TN where the "good ole boys club" is up and running. How can our judicial system do this, day in day out, year after year and nothing's ever said about it. Complaints to the ethics board are usless here, they are just ignored.
